Henry, a struggling art student who answers an ad for a painting renovation job. he receives the painting along with specific instructions to keep a candle burning near it at all times, recite a chant before working on it, keep it covered, and not let anyone see it until it’s complete. But when he disregards the superstitions and snuffs out the candle burning near the canvas, he sets in motion a terrifying series of events that threaten to consume him. He discovers a hidden signature that leads him down a path of darkness and destruction. With each stroke of his brush, he unwittingly invites the evil within.
